Alux Research · FAQ
Clear answers on research use, COAs, ordering, and delivery.
Alux Research supplies research peptides and related compounds for laboratory, analytical, and scientific research. Our focus is clear product information, access to third-party laboratory reports, careful packaging, and responsive customer support.
Purchasers must be at least 21 years old and meet the researcher or authorized institutional buyer requirements shown during verification. You must be purchasing for legitimate in-vitro laboratory research and have the knowledge, facilities, and procedures needed to handle the materials appropriately.
Research Use Only, or RUO, identifies materials supplied for laboratory research. Alux products are not offered as medicines, foods, cosmetics, or dietary supplements, and must not be used for human or veterinary consumption or administration.
No. The research materials we sell are not offered as approved medicines for human use. A published COA or a high purity result does not change the product’s research-only designation.
No. We do not provide dosing recommendations, treatment protocols, or instructions for human or veterinary use. Our team can help with product specifications, laboratory reports, storage information, and order questions.
Compare the product’s identity, stated amount, formulation, and batch documentation with your laboratory’s requirements. Researchers are responsible for assessing suitability for their particular application. Contact us before ordering if a specification you need is unclear.
A Certificate of Analysis, or COA, records the results of laboratory testing on a submitted sample. It identifies the sample, issuing laboratory, report number, and the tests performed. Read the complete report to understand its results and limitations.
Visit View Certificates of Analysis to review our published reports. Select the relevant product and labeled amount, then check the batch information. If you cannot identify the report for your order, contact us with your order number and a photo of the vial label.
Alux works with Freedom Diagnostics for independent analytical testing. The laboratory name, methods, and results appear on the individual COA. Review the report for the specific product and batch you are researching.
Use Freedom Diagnostics’ COA lookup. Enter the Search Code or accession number shown on the report, or search by the company name exactly as it appears on the COA. Compare the lab’s original document with the report you are reviewing.
Check the product name, labeled amount, and lot or batch identifier against the report. The batch identifier matters because the same product can have several reports over time. If a label is unclear or the identifiers do not match, contact us before relying on that report.
A reported purity percentage describes the sample under the laboratory’s stated analytical method. For an HPLC area-percentage result, it refers to the target peak’s share of the integrated chromatographic peak area. It does not mean that 99% of all powder in the vial is necessarily the named peptide by weight.
Purity describes the analytical purity result. Identity testing assesses whether the sample is consistent with the stated compound. Net content measures the amount of the compound in the tested vial. These answer different questions, so a purity percentage alone does not establish identity or the number of milligrams present.
HPLC stands for high-performance liquid chromatography, a technique used to separate sample components for analysis. LC-MS combines liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry and can provide evidence about a compound’s identity through its mass. The COA specifies the methods used for that sample.
Treat it as unreported on that document. A missing test should not be interpreted as a passing result. Contact us with the product, batch, and testing requirement so we can clarify what documentation is available.
Different batches and testing dates can produce separate reports for the same product. The newest report is not automatically the correct one for an earlier order. Match the batch identifier, and contact us if you need help locating a previous report.
The stated milligram amount identifies the labeled quantity of the named research material per vial. It is separate from the purity percentage and from the vial’s physical capacity. For measured content in a tested sample, review the net-content result on its COA.
A single-compound product lists one named research material. A blend contains multiple listed compounds. Review the individual amounts and total blend amount on the product page; do not assume every ingredient is present in an equal proportion.
Milligrams, or mg, measure mass. Milliliters, or mL, measure volume. A vial’s capacity in milliliters does not tell you the mass of peptide it contains. Use the product label and COA to identify the stated and measured amounts.
Lyophilized means freeze-dried. Products described this way are supplied as dry material rather than a prepared liquid solution. Check the individual product page because not every catalog item necessarily has the same physical form.
Follow the product label and any product-specific storage instructions. Keep materials securely stored under appropriate laboratory controls and protect them from contamination and unauthorized access. Contact us if the storage requirements for your product are unclear; do not assume one temperature or shelf life applies to every compound.
No. Visual powder height, texture, or the shape of a dried cake is not a reliable measurement of peptide content or purity. Use the relevant analytical results. If you notice an unexpected appearance, keep the vial and packaging and send us the product name, batch number, photos, and a description.
Create an account or sign in when prompted, and complete the required research-use verification. Use the same account for future purchases so you can access your order history and account-based rewards.
Our payment options include Apple Pay, credit cards, Zelle, Venmo, and Cash App. For card payments, use Visa or American Express; Mastercard and Discover are not currently supported. Apple Pay availability depends on your device, browser, and supported card. Review the methods available at checkout before placing your order.
A 5% card processing fee applies when you select the credit-card payment method. Review the fee and final total before submitting payment. The card fee should not apply to an order paid through Zelle, Venmo, or Cash App.
Choose your preferred method at checkout and follow the payment instructions provided for that order. Include your order number in the payment reference where instructed. Use the recipient details shown in your current order instructions.
Zelle, Venmo, and Cash App payments require confirmation before the order can proceed. An On hold status does not necessarily mean your payment failed. If you have already paid, contact us with your order number and payment reference so we can check its status.
Check that you used a supported card and that the billing details are correct. Before retrying, check your order status and payment confirmation to avoid placing a duplicate order. If you are unsure whether the payment went through, contact us with the order number; do not send your full card number or security code.
Enter the code in the coupon field in your cart or at checkout, then confirm the discount appears in the order summary. Eligibility, expiration dates, product exclusions, and whether offers can be combined depend on the specific promotion.
Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and the requested change. Orders that have not entered processing or fulfillment may be eligible for cancellation. Once processing, packing, or shipping begins, we cannot guarantee a change or cancellation.
We currently ship within the United States only. International shipping is not available.
Orders are processed and shipped within 24 hours after payment and order verification. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Holidays, high order volume, or additional verification may extend processing. Processing time is separate from carrier transit time.
Our published estimates are 3–5 business days for standard shipping and 1–2 business days for expedited shipping, where available. Transit estimates begin after the order has been processed and shipped. Check the options at checkout; estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed.
Yes. We offer free shipping on qualifying orders over $200. Review the shipping option and final order summary at checkout to confirm it has been applied.
Tracking information is provided once your order ships. Use the carrier’s tracking link for the latest scans and delivery estimate. If you cannot find your tracking information, contact us with your order number.
A label can be created before the carrier records its first acceptance scan. Label creation alone does not confirm that the package is moving through the carrier’s network. If tracking remains unchanged or the shipment appears unusually delayed, contact us so we can review it.
Check the delivery location, secure package areas, household members, and, where applicable, neighbors or building management. If the package is still missing, contact us promptly with your order number and tracking information.
Contact us immediately with your order number and the corrected address. Once the package ships, an address change or redirection cannot be guaranteed. Additional shipping charges may apply if a package is returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address.
Email admin@aluxresearch.com within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number, a description, and clear photos of the products and shipping packaging where applicable. Keep the affected items and packaging while we review the issue. If you discover it later, contact us and explain the delay.
Sales are generally final because research materials require controlled handling and storage. We cannot accept opened, used, altered, or compromised products. Changes of mind and ordering the wrong item when the correct item was supplied generally do not qualify. You can still contact us about a suspected quality issue. See our Refund and Returns Policy for the full terms.
Depending on the issue, an appropriate resolution may include a replacement, a refund to the original payment method, or store credit if you agree to it. We cover replacement shipping when we approve a replacement for a qualifying shipping or fulfillment issue.
Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days and returned to the original payment method. Your payment provider may need additional time to post the funds.
